Terms of Use
Effective Date: 10/17/2026
Acceptance and what the Site offers
By using www.productadvisory.co or assessment.productadvisory.co (together, the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is run by Product Advisory, LLC ("Product Advisory," "we," "us," or "our"). It describes our B2B product management consulting services and offers free toolkits, a skills assessment, learning content, and a page where you can request and vote on new tools. You must be at least 18 to use it.
Toolkits
Our toolkits are free to download and use. You may use them for yourself and inside your own organization, adapt them to your needs, and share them with colleagues, as long as you keep the Product Advisory branding on unmodified copies.
You may not sell them, charge for access to them, or present them as your own work. Toolkit PDFs are filled in on your device and we never see what you enter. The tools are frameworks to help you think and decide, and their outputs depend entirely on the inputs you give them.
Assessment, learning, and accounts
The assessment and learning content are for professional development and information. They are not a certification, license, or credential, and we do not guarantee any career, hiring, or business result from using them.
If you create an account, give us accurate information and keep your sign in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. Assessment results are based on the answers you give and are an estimate, not a final judgment of your skills.
Your submissions, votes, and suggestions
You keep ownership of anything you submit, including written answers, reflections, tool suggestions, and messages. You give us a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to use it to run, review, and improve the Site and our offerings. We may use suggestions without owing you credit or payment.
Votes and suggestions help us decide what to build, but they are not a promise. We may change, delay, or decline to build any tool. We review suggestions before they appear publicly and may edit or remove any that are unlawful, offensive, or off topic. Do not submit confidential information, trade secrets, or personal information about other people.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
Please do not:

- Try to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use.
- Interfere with the Site, including by scraping it at a scale that affects performance, or by manipulating votes or assessment results.

- Use the Site to build a competing product or to train an AI model.
The Site, its content, toolkits, assessments, courses, logos, and branding belong to Product Advisory, LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Except for the toolkit license above and personal, non commercial viewing of the Site, we grant no rights in them.
Advice, third parties, warranties, and liability
No professional advice. Content on the Site is general information about product management. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice, and using the Site does not create a consulting relationship. That begins only when we both sign a written agreement.
Third party services and links. The Site relies on and links to services we do not control, such as Google, Calendly, GitHub, and LinkedIn. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimer. The Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. You use the toolkits and any results at your own risk and should check them before relying on them for a decision.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Product Advisory, LLC and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service involved, which is $0 for free toolkits, assessments, and learning content. Paid consulting work is covered by its own written agreement. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity. You agree to cover claims, losses, and costs that arise from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Termination, governing law, changes, and contact
Termination. We may suspend or end your access or account at any time if you break these Terms or misuse the Site. You can stop using the Site or ask us to delete your account whenever you like. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits, will.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new effective date here. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
